🔧 Role Overview

We are seeking a Field Services Engineer – to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Based in Phoenix, AZ , this hybrid role involves both onsite customer interaction and occasional remote diagnostics. The ideal candidate will be mechanically and electrically adept, with a strong focus on safety, precision, and customer service.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite installation, preventive maintenance , and field support for ion implanter equipment.
• Diagnose and repair complex issues using schematics, diagrams, and precision alignment tools.
• Partner with customers and internal teams to resolve technical challenges under tight deadlines .
• Develop, follow, and refine detailed SOPs and documentation.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of service activities and troubleshooting efforts.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and cleanroom standards .

✅ Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on field service or equipment maintenance experience in semiconductor or related industries.
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, multi-meters, and current clamps .
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to read schematics and plumbing diagrams .
• Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and PPE safety standards .
• Proficient in MS Office applications ; strong communication and documentation skills.
• Must be able to pass customer background checks and hold a valid driver’s license .

📚 Education Requirements

• Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience OR 4+ years of applicable field service experience in lieu of a degree OR Military technical training and field experience may substitute for an associate degree
• High school diploma or equivalent required

💪 Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Capable of walking 10,000+ steps/day, crouching, kneeling, twisting, and lifting up to 35 lbs
• Comfortable working in confined spaces , on ladders/stairs , and in cleanroom environments
• Must pass a medical exam for respirator use
• Will be required to wear PPE and follow safety regulations
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively (domestic and international)
