Job Description

Are you an experienced technical operations leader with a background in calibration and repair? We’re looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-performance commercial calibration and repair laboratory. What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee daily lab operations across technical service, customer service, shipping & receiving, quality assurance, and logistics
  • Ensure all operations align with company goals and exceed customer expectations
  • Lead a team of supervisors and staff with a hands-on, mission-driven approach
  • Manage operational budgets and key variable expenses with full P&L responsibility
  • Enhance and expand accreditation scope (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025) as needed
  • Support strategic initiatives and special projects in collaboration with leadership
  • Maintain high levels of efficiency, technical accuracy, and asset utilization

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years in Calibration and Repair, including experience with Physical Dimensional, RF/Microwave, and general test equipment
  • PMEL or equivalent technical training preferred
  • 4+ years leading technical teams or supervising operations
  • 2+ years of hands-on P&L and budgeting experience
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement
