Job Title – Safety Coordinator

Location – Leesburg, Sterling, Ashburn, or Bristow, VA

Role Type – Contract to Hire (6 months)

Must-Have Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of safety-related experience (or EMT, nursing, or military background)
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and provide constructive feedback.
  • Proactive, safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities and Job Details:

  • Support crew leadership in developing Job Hazard Analyses and ensuring compliance with OSHA guidelines
  • Promote a positive, proactive safety culture on-site through daily engagement and visibility
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards promptly
  • Assist in incident investigations, reporting, and developing corrective actions
  • Provide safety training and education for on-site teams
  • Monitor proper use and availability of PPE across job sites
  • Contribute to safety communication efforts, including bulletins and updates
  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills
  • Maintain accurate records of safety-related data, trainings, and incidents
  • Collaborate in safety meetings and committees to address ongoing concerns
  • Drive continuous improvement in site safety processes
  • Serve as a key point of contact for safety-related support and mentorship on-site.
